Main Facility

We are currently raising funds to open a facility of our own.  This facility will be a rental to meet our needs and yours while planning and grant-writing for a permanent facility is underway (which can be a long process).  We anticipate that we will need one year’s operating capital; some build-out, equipment, and materials funds; and a modicum salary for a part-time kitchen manager in order to accomplish this.  The estimated total to do this comfortably:  $50,000.  Please contact Val Leitner at Val@blueovenkitchens.org for more information about contributing to this important, next step in our growth process.

In the meantime, we have the Referral Service Program (described below) to help meet your inspected kitchen needs.

Referral Service Program

The Referral Service Program is how we match existing, inspected kitchens with appropriate users.  If you own or manage such a kitchen, or are interested in renting one, please read the relevant documents below.

Rental.Use.Policies:  An example document of the types of rules and procedures you may expect from a tenant or participating kitchen.

Facility.Checklist.Production.Sheet:  An example of the type of sheet you may want to provide tenants or (if you are a tenant) will likely be required to fill out per shift to document cleaning, production, and equipment/facility condition.
